The Ford Bronco Mid Package is the option most Nassau County daily drivers should not skip, because it adds heated seats, dual-zone climate, remote start, navigation and the blind-spot and lane-keeping systems. The Lux Package builds on Mid with a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, B&O audio and front parking sensors. Here is what each includes, which trims already have them built in, and which one fits your driving.
Bottom Line: Mid is the everyday-comfort-and-safety package; Lux is the long-commute-and-tight-parking package. Get Mid on any Big Bend or Badlands, and add Lux if you spend real time on the Long Island Expressway.
- Mid Package: intelligent access, heated front seats, dual-zone climate, connected navigation, Pro Power Onboard 400W, rear sensors, remote start, BLIS with cross-traffic alert, lane keeping
- Lux Package (adds to Mid): 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, 12-speaker B&O audio, evasive steering assist, front parking sensors, LED mirror approach lamps
- Mid is standard on Outer Banks, Heritage, Stroppe and Raptor; Lux is standard on Stroppe Edition
What the Bronco Mid Package Includes
Mid is the package that turns a Bronco from a rugged base vehicle into a comfortable commuter. It brings keyless intelligent access (which also locks and unlocks the rear swing gate), heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, connected navigation with live traffic, soft ambient lighting in the footwells, illuminated vanity mirrors and a 400-watt Pro Power Onboard household outlet on the back of the console.
On the safety side, Mid adds rear parking sensors, BLIS blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, and the lane-keeping system with lane-keeping alert, aid and driver alert. Remote start is included when you choose the 10-speed automatic. The base Co-Pilot360 features, such as pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, auto high-beams and the rear camera, are standard on every Bronco regardless of package; federal crash-test results are available at the NHTSA vehicle ratings site.
Mid is optional on Big Bend and Badlands, and standard on Outer Banks, Heritage Edition, Stroppe Edition and Raptor. Base does not offer it. See our Bronco trim levels guide for how the trims stack up.
What the Bronco Lux Package Adds
Lux is incremental to Mid; you cannot get Lux without Mid’s content. It adds a 360-degree camera, adaptive cruise control, a 12-speaker B&O sound system with subwoofer, evasive steering assist, front parking sensors and LED approach lamps in the side mirrors.
Lux is where the long-distance features live. Adaptive cruise makes stop-and-go on the Northern State far less tiring, and the 360-degree camera is a genuine help when parking a Sasquatch-equipped truck between SUVs at Roosevelt Field. Lux is optional on Outer Banks, Badlands and Raptor, and standard on the Stroppe Edition.

One detail to watch on Badlands: the Mid Package includes a heated steering wheel there, and remote start only comes with the automatic. On Big Bend and Badlands with the 7-speed manual, you get everything in Mid except remote start. Our manual vs automatic guide covers the other differences.

Which Package Is Right for You?
Skip both only if you are buying a Base or a stripped Big Bend as a dedicated weekend and beach truck and you already have another daily driver. Even then, remote start and heated seats are hard to give up in a Nassau County February.
Get Mid if the Bronco is your primary vehicle. Blind-spot monitoring matters on a tall truck with a spare tire on the back, and connected navigation plus Pro Power Onboard turn a tailgate at Jones Beach into a real basecamp.
Get Lux if you commute on the Expressway, park in tight garages, or care about audio. Adaptive cruise and the 360-degree camera are the two features owners say they would not go without after living with them. Both packages add to the vehicle’s price, so run the numbers with our payment tool:
